Mann Travel update information due to Covid-19

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve we understand that many of you will have various questions and queries regarding your flight or travel bookings with us.
As you know these are exceptional times that no one has seen before. We are continuously monitoring the situation and news announcements, to ensure that we can assist you appropriately in these difficult times.

Airline policies related to COVID-19 travel restrictions are being updated daily and we are doing our best to keep ahead of things. We have the full force of our team on hand managing bookings and looking after customers.

In the end, we are bound by the policies imposed by governments and airlines. These are hard times and the only concern right now is to help our customers by providing the right travel advice.

Many airlines are allowing customers to re-book for an alternate date and in some cases alternate destination as well, in these cases you do not need to provide an alternate date right now. You may do this at a later date, once the situation has improved and travel restrictions have been lifted.

Other airlines will be issuing credit notes of the value of your original booking, this can be used to redeem against another set of flights when you are ready to book. These credit notes will be valid for a minimum of 12 months from the original date of your ticket issuance. The refund option is not available with all the airlines and for all the sectors. If the airline policy allows the refund, we will process it for you. Otherwise, the credit option will be given.

Please note that the date change/reroute/cancellation/refund/credit option/the last date to rebook varies from Airline to Airline and may differ according to the type of fare booked, date of ticket issuance and flight sectors.

We cannot stress this enough but given the current situation of continuously changing government and airline guidelines, we are facing an enormous call flow. We value our customers and your calls are important to us, but in order to assist you properly, we would require your cooperation as well. We apologize in advance for any delay in response.

Please avoid making calls or leaving messages on webchat, Facebook requesting a callback. It would be difficult for our staff to return the call. We would request to please email us your query:

  • If your existing/new travel plan is within 7 days, please email us at urgenttravel@manntravel.nz.
  • If your existing/revised travel plan is after 7 days, please email us at aftersales@manntravel.nz.
  • If your flight is within 48 hours, please call us at 09 973 1940.

We understand you are worried and we are doing our best to help our customers in every way possible.
